BOSTON LAGER
Sabor a malta, ligeramente dulces

GOLDEN PILSNER
Pilsner is one of the great traditional beer styles:
a medium-bodied brew with a well-rounded, crisp flavor, and a crystal
clarity.
Tasting Notes
Samuel Adams Golden Pilsner is classically German, brewed with Saaz,
Hallertau Northern Brewer, and Spalt Spalt hops for a subtle hop finish
and a balanced dryness. Two-row and caramel malts give this beer a soft
palate and a medium body.
Golden Pilsner is a clean, crisp, beautifully balanced
beer that is delicious with seafood, pork, veal, chicken, and mild cheeses.

PALE
ALE
Pale Ale is a classic English beer style, possessing
a crisp malt character with a subtle richness. "Pale" refers
to the malt that was used in brewing, which was lightly roasted, compared
to the highly roasted malts used to brew porters. The result is a beer
that is amber to deep amber in color.
Tasting Notes
Sam Adams Pale Ale is a delicious, light-bodied beer with a delightfully
fresh taste. The unique blend of two-row Harrington, Vienna, Caramel
60 and Chocolate malts adds complexity, as well as a nice amber color.
The ale yeast gives it a crisp and fruity fermentation character, and
East Kent Goldings and Fuggles hops impart an authentic British ale
flavor.
Pale Ale tastes great with grilled foods, spicy Mexican
dishes, or a big bowl of New England clam chowder.

DOBLE BOCK
7.2 % alc. vol.
Available: January – March. Appreciate Double Bock's strong malt
and caramel character. We use an enormous amount of malt, half a pound
per bottle, to brew this intensely rich lager. Despite the malt quantity,
Double Bock is uniquely smooth. The deep brown-ruby color is all made
in the kettle -- no black malt is used. As a result, the rough taste
of burnt malt is absent. All that remains is the smooth velvet flavor
of costly two-row malt. Double Bock's intense malt character is balanced
with Tettnang and Saaz hops, which are used in roughly the same proportion
as in Samuel Adams Boston Lager. This rich lager has a dry, faintly
smoky finish. Serve Double Bock with patés, chicken, and wild
mushrooms. This is a beer that will take the chill out of late winter
and early spring evenings, when the weather is uncertain and the tulips
are still frozen underfoot.

SUMMER ALE
5.1 % alc. vol.
Available: May – August. Summer Ale is tangy and crisp, brewed
with wheat malt, lemon zest, Hallertau Tradition and Saaz hops, the
Boston brewery's own ale yeast, and an historic, nearly forgotten brewing
spice called Grains of Paradise. Grains of Paradise gives Summer Ale
a peppery citrus note, which enhances the tanginess of the lemon peel.
This nearly forgotten brewing ingredient -- used by brewers in the 13th
and 14th centuries -- brings a subtle, elegant aroma to the wheat ale
base. The ale yeast fermentation produces background notes of tropical
fruit: you'll detect hints of mangos and peaches. This is a well-balanced,
quenching beer -- perfect for summertime. Summer Ale is delicious with
all summer foods: salads, sandwiches, grilled vegetables, and spicy
foods. Serve it a little cooler -- about 45 degrees.

OCTOBERFEST
5.7 % alc. vol.
Available: August – October. This year's Samuel Adams OctoberFest
is rich with malt. A blend of four special malts -- Munich, Harrington,
Moravian and Crystal -- give this smooth lager a silky mouthfeel, strong
caramel notes and a nutty tone. Noble hops Tettnang Tettnanger and Hallertau
Hallertauer balance this beer beautifully, but OctoberFest is a true
malt showcase.

|
SPRING ALE
5.2 % alc. vol.
Available: January – March. Samuel Adams Spring Ale is Boston
Beer Company's fresh American version of Koelsch, a German style ale.
Koelsch beers are delicate, dry and lightly fruity ales traditionally
brewed in the Cologne area of Germany.

WINTER LAGER

OLD FEZZIWIG

Old Fezziwig Ale is a rich ale for cold weather drinking by the fireside.
Savor its robust, subtly spiced taste. You'll detect ginger, cinnamon,
and peel from Curacao oranges which are prized for their fragrance.
Old Fezziwig is delicious with a classic dessert like crème brulee.
Serve slightly chilled, around 55 degrees.

BOSTON ALE
Samuel Adams Boston Ale was the second beer on the
Samuel Adams roster, a robust and spicy ale brewed in 1988 to celebrate
the opening of the Samuel Adams Brewery in Boston. The recipe for Boston
Ale is from the Koch family archives. Jim's grandfather kept careful
brewer's notes which were stored in the family's Cincinnati attic.
Tasting Notes
Take a sip. Taste the combination of spicy bitterness and an earthy,
herbal character from the hops. The malty and sweet finish is reminiscent
of a lager. Hold Boston Ale up to the light and appreciate its deep
red amber color. This beautiful glow comes from two-row Harrington and
crystal malts, which are added in generous quantities to brew Samuel
Adams Boston Ale to a higher original gravity than most ales. Traditional
ale hops, Saaz, Kent, Fuggles, and Goldings, impart a complex bitterness
and an earthy, herbal aroma

CHERRY WHEAT
5.3 % alc. vol.
Wheat beer is a distinctly summery and refreshing style, particularly
welcome when a thirst quenching drink is called for. Cherry Wheat perfectly
balances the delicacy and citrus tang of a wheat ale with the taste
and aroma of fresh cherries. Wheat beers combine beautifully with fruit,
and Cherry Wheat is no exception. Savor Cherry Wheat's spicy, herbal
note. This delightful beer has a dry, crisp finish due to the wheat
malt used in the brew; fresh cherries from Michigan give it a lovely
aroma. You'll detect a slight sweetness from the clover honey which
is used sparingly to balance the tartness of the fruit.

I. P. A.
The history of India Pale Ale, or IPA, begins in the 18th century when
there were many British troops stationed in India. It took anywhere
from three to six months for beer to arrive from England, and typical
ales became flat and sour by the time they reached their destination.
The classic India Pale Ale style has a fresh hop aroma and a distinct
hoppy bitterness. Sam Adams IPA is brewed with hand-selected Fuggles
and East Kent Goldings hops for a refreshingly crisp, distinctive finish,
and is aged in American oak for a smooth, hearty taste. Sam Adams IPA
is delicious with grilled seafood and mild cheeses.

SCOTCH ALE
ºL, peat malt, caramelo 60 ºL y malta chocolate. Actualmente
tiene una densidad específica original de 1,062 (15,2 ºP)
y la densidad final 1,021 aproximadamente. Los lúpulos son ingleses,
Kent Goldings y Fuggles.
a producirse.
ligeramente dulce.
pasados.

HONEY PORTER
5.3 % alc. vol.
Samuel Adams Honey Porter is round and full-bodied with a mild roasted
flavor and hints of fruit. Two-row Munich, chocolate and caramel malts
give this porter a rich, smooth flavor with unusual depth. This complex
ale has a beautiful ruby black color and a touch of sweetness from the
addition of pure clover honey. It is generously hopped with Kent, Fuggles,
and Goldings hops, which adds a spicy bitterness to the brew. Samuel
Adams Honey Porter is best paired with traditional meat dishes like
roast beef, veal, and lamb. Try it as an accompaniment for oysters as
well! Savor the chocolate flavors in conjunction with creamy desserts.

UTOPIAS
Destinada a

MILLENNIUM
Millennium is an example of the brewers' art at its most remarkable:
a rich though very drinkable amber essence with mouth-filling flavors
of malt and oak, overtones of vanilla, butterscotch and pear, with a
hint of cinnamon. Rare Noble hops give Samuel Adams Millennium a crisp,
balanced finish. Millenium Ale contains 19.5%-20% alcohol by volume.
Served at cellar temperature (about 60 degrees) in two-ounce servings,
Millennium makes a wonderful aperitif or after-dinner drink.

TRIPLE BOCK
Triple Bock is complex, elegant, and has the depth and complexity of
a fine cognac, vintage port or an old sherry. Non-carbonated, ruby-black,
and very special, Triple Bock should be sipped from a small snifter
in a two-ounce serving. This is a beer to savor, and sip slowly. Triple
Bock has a brandy-like warmth and a complex melange of fruity, woody,
and toffee-like flavors. Let the aroma fill your mouth and nose with
rich malt and fruit overtones. Savor and appreciate its enormous character.
Serve Triple Bock as you would a fine sherry, at room temperature, in
a small snifter. One bottle generously serves two or three. Recork and
store standing up. Once poured into a small glass, the layers of aroma
and flavor will continue to evolve as the deep ruby brew warms in the
hand. Cheers!
